Mrs. Kim Ninabuck

MS/HS Principal’s Welcome

My name is Kim Ninabuck, Bowler Middle/High School Principal.  I want to personally welcome you to the Bowler School District.  I am in my 6th year as principal and I have been in the education field for 21 years, 11 years as a teacher in both special education and MS English in the Bowler School District.  At Bowler Middle/High School our goal is assist our students in becoming career and college ready.

I am dedicated to providing the best education possible for our students, we may be a small rural school but we have a state of the art ERVING Network and Polycom room (distance learning) that provides our students with many possible options for opportunities beyond the classroom.  Our students also have the ability to take Dual Credit classes some of which our District teachers are teaching. Students have the opportunity to participate in Youth Apprenticeship, Youth Options, and Course Options.

Our students at Bowler Middle/High School also have many opportunities to enrich their lives through different clubs and extra-curricular activities, such as the Super Milieage Vehicle (SMV) Club, Forensics, Math Club, FFA, Natonal Honor Society, just to name a few.  We have the following sports for middle and high school students, 8-man football, cross-country, volleyball, soccer, basketball, track, softball, and baseball.

Our staff is a dedicated and professional staff wanting to go the extra mile to assist our students. The District offers a Homework Club after school on two nights a week to help students become more successful.  This year we are also implementing a Toward Rigor/Relevance, Enrichment, and Knowledge (TREK) time at the end of the day. This 30-minute block of time at the end of the day will allow for student enrichment and support in a smaller group setting.  Each student will gain something different from this time period.

  • Some will get the extra help they may need in a challenging subject matter
  • Some will get to explore opportunities they might not otherwise get to experience
  • Some will get one-to-one support for classroom activities
  • Some will get time to complete school work and get organized

This is our first year of doing this, and we are excited to work on improving our system to assist our students better. I also see this really working to help with enrichment for our students down the road.  We will tweak and improve this as the year goes on.

Parent contact and communication is important for our student success.  Our district has an APP, Facebook and a Webpage to try to get the word out as things are happening in our school.  I believe we need to work together as a team (parents, community, students, and staff) to provide the best education for our students.

We are moving forward with technology as well and are very excited about the changes. We have many changes in the horizon to get our students more up to date with their technology skills.  The District has purchased a cart of Chrome Books and we will be moving into using the G-Suite for schools.  Some of our inservices for our staff will be dealing with the technology piece as well as the continued improvement using data and what is best for our kids!  It is an exciting time at Bowler and I hope you are as excited as I am about the upcoming changes.  We have great kids and a great community and together we can move mountains.

If you ever have any questions and/or concerns about your son/daughter, please don’t hesitate to contact me at 715-793-4101 (Ext. 2). I will be happy to assist you in any way that I can.
